PACIFIC OCEAN (Sept. 25, 2010) Senior Chief Quartermaster James Fox and Quartermaster 2nd Class Sarah DeGraw, explain surface contact radar aboard the aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN 72) to Rear Adm. Mark D. Guadagnini, commander of the Abraham Lincoln Carrier Strike Group. Guadagnini spent the morning touring Abraham Lincoln's navigation department spaces and learned about their tools and equipment. Abraham Lincoln Carrier Strike Group is on a scheduled deployment to the U.S. 7th and 5th Fleet areas of responsibility supporting maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts to establish conditions for regional stability.
