WASHINGTON (Sept. 30, 2010) Machinist Mate 1st Class Michael Lamney and his wife Mrs. Rose Lamney are congratulated by Admiral Jonathan W. Greenert, Vice Chief of Naval Operations at the second annual Navy Safe Harbor Awards Ceremony.  In December 2006 Lamney was severely injured due to steam leak aboard the USS Frank Cable. Safe Harbor has been instrumental in helping the Lamney's navigate the medical process. Safe Harbor is the Navy's lead organization for coordinating non-medical care of seriously wounded, ill, and injured Sailors, Coast Guardsmen, and their families.
