A formation of U.S. and French navy ships is underway in the Arabian Gulf.

ARABIAN SEA (Dec. 10, 2010) The guided-missile destroyer USS Halsey (DDG 97), the aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN 72), the French navy aircraft carrier Charles De Gaulle (R 91), the French navy destroyers Forbin (D 620), and Tourville (D 610) and the Military Sealift Command fast combat support ship USNS Rainier (T-AOE 7) are underway in formation in the Arabian Sea.
