Teotihuacan, Mexico Pyramid of the Sun from Pyramid of the Moon. The ruins of Teotihuacan are situated in the north-eastern part of the valley of Mexico, some miles from the shores of Lake Texcoco and twenty-five miles from the modern City of Mexico.
