A road-racer bicycle. A full roadster would have the handles a little higher relatievly to the saddle, and would be provided with mud-guards, free-wheel and sometimes a gear-case and variable speed gear. The front fork and steering post are subject to bending moment due to the reaction from the ground in the direction d-e-b.
